Rachel cultivates an intuitive and integrative practice with a focus on restorative and working with the subtle energies of the mind, body and spirit - based in healing tradition of Ayurveda body therapies, she offers treatments at both northeast and uptown locations.
In Ayurveda, the ancient wisdom and science of life, everything contributes to our nourishment (or opposite) of mind, body and soul. It is essential to nurture and curate the environments of our outer and inner space for our higher potential.
Our daily practices create our level of wellness.
The treatments (Tx) she offers – Ayurveda Body Therapy and Ayurveda Integrative Massage - are individualized to balance the Vikruti (our dosha or natural state imbalance) through energy and body technique and custom alchemy body oil blends. She also offers Ayurveda Self-Care Ritual (Dinacharya) workshops to promote well-being and connection to our own unique true nature through home-care (Rx). Results are cumulative.
At Sivananda Vedanta Ashram Bahamas, Rachel completed Ayurveda Body Therapy and spiritual practice training and apprenticeship with Lalita Devi at the Ashram’s WellBeing Center. In the yogic lineage of Swami Sivananda, and through the vision of Swami Vishnudevananda, her work is to bridge and harmonize the ancient healing tradition with our modern lifestyle.
Her Philosophy: Spiritual evolution is essential for whole-being wellness. There are many paths to our own truth. She believes self-care rituals are a direct route to self-love and surrender to the divine within. With this connection, we learn to trust our innate intuition, activate our innate natural healing energy and the process of life.
