One definition of a crisis is when circumstances occur that exceed our ability to cope. When we have a sustained crisis such as Covid-19, with no clear ending in sight, that leads to burnout. This workshop will cover signs and symptoms of burnout to help the attendees understand and identify what they may be experiencing, as well as strategies for coping in a time of crisis.

Tonya Wilhelm, LICSW, is a therapist, clinical supervisor and consultant. She has more than 25 years of experience in the field of social services working primarily with children, adults and families who have experienced trauma and relational difficulties. Tonya has a Master’s Degree in Social Work and is certified in Trauma-Effective Leadership from the University of Minnesota.
