Join herbalist, Megan Mastel, and natural dyer, Libby London, to explore the art and herbal benefits of plants—for your skin!
Your skin is your largest organ, so let's give it some extra attention! In this #SpotSpaLearningBar, you'll learn how to identify, process and create beautiful hues with plants that are good for the skin through bundle dyeing your own silk pillowcase and creating an herbal skin salve.
Your face has more contact with a pillowcase than any other fabric. Silk can be beneficial for your skin and hair, and it has been known to help with wrinkles, acne, bedhead and split ends, as well as being hypoallergenic and breathable for the skin. Herbal salves can provide support and relief with anything from minor cuts, scrapes and burns to dryness, rashes and bug bites. The magic of plants abounds!
Join us for a fun night of skin health, natural dyeing, herbal salve making and drinks, and you will leave with an herbal salve and one silk pillowcase that is crafted and tinted with colors from our natural landscape, made by your own hands!
